Matthias Manasi returns in February to the Kazakh State Philharmonic Orchestra (Kazakh state philharmonic named after Zhambyl)

Matthias Manasi will lead the Kazakh State Philharmonic Orchestra in a gala concert on 4 February 2022 in the Almaty Kazakh State Philharmonic.
The soloists of the gala concert will be the internationally known Kazakh musicians Ms. Aida Ayupova, violin and Mr. Yermek Kurmanayev, cello. Both musicians have won important prizes. Ms Aida Ayupova is a soloist of the Zhambyl Kazakh State Philharmonic Society, Prize Winner of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Mr Kurmanayev is a Prize Winner of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The program will include the world premiere of the Concertino for violin and orchestra by the Kazakh composer Arthur Orenburgsky with Ms. Ayupova as soloist. Also on the program are the Double Concerto by J. Brahms, the Rienzi Overture by R. Wagner and the Rosenkavalier-Suite by Richard Strauss.
